CEI measures what share of receivables that were collectible during the period actually got collected. A score of 67.8% means that of the AR available to collect (beginning AR plus new credit sales, minus what should still be outstanding), you collected 67.8% of it. Between 60% and 80% is typical, but most teams can tighten this with more consistent follow-up.
